Requirements for Raiding

Raid Instance Policies

Scheduled Raids: All logged in guild members at level 70 are expected to attend scheduled raids. We ask that you leave any instance or battleground if it interferes with scheduled raid times, and to try not to organize instance runs if it cannot be completed before the raid. Non-attendance of scheduled raids which you are online for is grounds for a warning and/or guild removal. This guild is a PvE guild with a focus on endgame.

Unscheduled Raids AKA: World Bosses: Should the guild have a suitable number of members online to make an attempt at a world boss members with 70 mains will be asked to leave their battleground, instance, or alt to engage. This call can only be made by an officer, and will only be made if we feel we have the sufficient numbers to succeed at the encounter. We will not ask you to stop what you're doing if we don't have enough people online to succeed, but if we have sufficient numbers- all logged in members are expected to attend.

Raiding out of Guild: We expect members of the guild to raid with the guild. If content is on a timer (you are assigned a RaidID when you run it) running out of guild is grounds for dismissal. Exceptions may be made for farm instances no longer on our schedule. You can monitor when an instance is no longer on the schedule and available to run out of guild by checking the Instance Information section, linked above.

Alts

We allow one tagged alt per level 70 character. We encourage members to tag thier alt so that they can be contacted for World Bosses and/or any questions from other players- but we do not require that you do so if you don't want to be contacted. If you are on your tagged alt at the time that a World Boss raid has been announced- you are expected to log into your main to attend the raid.

In return for this, members should be respectful of players on alts if they choose not to help in other, non-required, guild runs. People with tagged alts have done the guild the courtesy of letting us know where they are and how they can be contacted, do not make them regret that. They could just as easily remove the alt from the guild and not put up with the abuse.

Alts will only be invited to scheduled raids when it is imperative to the success of the raid to have more members of that particular class. Do not expect to raid scheduled instances with the guild on your alt.

Behavior

You are not expected to behave yourself in a formal way, no one expects to be adressed as "Sir", "Mister", "Madam" or "My fair lady". However, we also do not expect to be called "asshats" "fucktards" "douchebags" "asswipes" or "elitist loot whores". In no way are you to engage in a fight over guild chat. Yes, we discuss things over guild chat every now and then, but there is absolutely no need to offend others to get your point through. If you have an issue with another member, take it to tells or report to an officer/leader, we don't want drama here, and we will not have drama here.

Officer/Leader decision on a subject is to be seen as the hammer of justice thundering down. We do take suggestions, constructive criticism or disapproval of our members into account, however, we will be deciding the best way to deal with the events that we have to face, in a way that we find to be the best for the most, saying it will be the best solution to everyone would be exaggerating, as it is almost impossible to please all members at the same time more often than not.
